The much-anticipated Interior Designers’ Pantomime will be performing ‘Jack and the Blingstalk’ from Sunday 3 to Thursday 7 November at the Harold Pinter Theatre in the heart of London’s West End. Now in its sixth year, the Interior Designers Pantomime has raised several million pounds for various charities.
The Pantomime sees leading figures from the world of fashion and design come together to raise money for different charities through staging and starring in a pantomime production. This year we are proud to announce that CEO and Co-Founder of Taylor Howes, Karen Howes will take part in the sixth production of The Interior Designers’ Pantomime. She will be taking on the roles of the giants cook Spatula as well as the fabulous Chenille Throw.
Jack and Blingstalk is written and directed by Andrew Pollard and the cast will be dressed by legendary names from British and International fashion houses. It will be a night full of fun, laughter and dance and a true celebration of London’s dynamic and diverse design scene. The proceeds from the 2019 pantomime will go to Screw Cancer, a charity created by the late William Yeoward.
From the outset William played a huge part in the interior designer pantomime and he was one of the main pillars of its success. William created the charity when he was told he had cancer several years ago, he came to believe that for people like him, an app was needed which would provide a single place where specific information about an individual’s illness and treatment could be stored. This led to William creating the Screw Cancer app to help others find clarity and guidance in times of immense stress. In his memory, the interior designers pantomime will support Screw Cancer in their mission to create an App to provide cancer sufferers with all the vital information they need in one place. William’s remarkable legacy will be available through the Maggie’s and the NHS.
